Qyst Mechanics vs Air Bag Light with No Horn
A client dropped off their 2002 Ford Thunderbird due to an air bag light and no sound from the horn.
MARCH 6, 2024
Today at the Lima store our technician Bill diagnosed a car with an air bag light on and the horn would not blow.
Bill performed the diagnostics and traced the problem to a defective clock spring.
Bill disarmed the air bag system, removed the air bag and replaced the clock spring assembly.
This car is now safe.

Qyst Mechanics vs Ford Dealer Engineers
Qyst was referred a customer that had his 2015 Ford F350 Super Duty 6.7 Diesel at a Ford dealership.

The truck's owner took his truck with a "Check Engine" light that was on and has a rough-running engine. Over the course of six weeks, the Ford Dealership performed a multitude of tests and services.
These diagnostic tests that were performed to try to determine the cause of the issue, were not actually needed. The multiple tests were a process of elimination that incurred cost to the owner.
The dealer's technicians were stummped.
The Ford Dealership admitted they could not diagnose the issue and stated they even brought in two Ford Engineers for their expert evaluation. The Ford Engineers and their computer diagnostic equipment could not identify the problem.
JANUARY 15, 2024
The Ford Dealership presented the owner a bill for $10,244.31 and told him they couldn't fix it!
The owner's mother - a long-time Qyst customer - recommended to her son that he take his truck to Qyst Tire. The tow service from Allentown, PA to Qyst Tire cost the customer $590.00.

The truck's diesel engine problem was a broken "internal part" that required the "entire" diesel engine to be replaced.
It took four shop days from diagnostic start to Qyst's ASE Certified Mechanic's finish . . .
There were supply chain issues that kept the truck at Qyst Tire's shop for two weeks.
Had all the parts been readily available without delays, Qyst would have completed the pickup truck's diesel engine replacement in four total days.
